For the Baptizer
- • Firm grip on the arm, hand on upper back.
- • Take a wide step back as you lower them.
- • "Buried with Christ..."
- • "...Raised to a new life."
For the Baptizee
- • Pinch nose and grab opposite wrist.
- • Bend knees slightly to assist the descent.
- • Keep eyes closed and trust the leader.
