COUNSELING

Sometimes life throws challenges at us that are too great to walk through alone regardless of where you are in your faith journey. It’s okay to ask for help whether you are seeking to overcoming addiction, navigating personal struggles, healing relationship issues, or dealing with mental health disorders. If you are struggling with something today, Christian Counseling is a great way to find emotional, mental, and spiritual freedom.

Individual Counseling

Melissa provides individual counseling to all ages.  Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and scripture she helps each person from a holistic lens.  Melissa believes taking care of your soul along with working on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, is essential in your healing journey.

Marriage and Pre-Marital Counseling

Kris and Melissa will provide a safe and judgment-free space for you to work on the issues your relationship is struggling with.  While counseling is not a magic wand that cures everything, it will almost always bring hope, healing, and growth when couples are willing to put in the work.  One of the unique benefits of coming here is having joint sessions with both Kris and Melissa.  You’ll get both of their expertise from the lens of a male and female, who are married and have worked through their own marriage struggles.  They use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, The Gottman Method, and scripture to guide sessions and help you work on your relationship.  Prepare and Enrich is used as a pre-marital counseling tool.  Couples counseling is provided only on Sunday mornings.

Please fill out the Counseling Request Form if you are interested in receiving counseling.  It can be provided in person or via telehealth (for Missouri residents only)
