HIGH SCHOOL

SERVING ON SUNDAY MORNINGS

Our mission is to equip students to be lifelong followers of Jesus. From our weekly programming, to special events, to summer camp (CIY MOVE) - all of these serve as opportunities to connect with the students in the high school ministry to help them see what it looks like to walk with Jesus not only while they're in high school and into the next chapters of their life.

We want our students to see that they are the church now and that they can contribute to the body of believers just like their parents. That's why on Sunday mornings, we encourage our students to attend the Sunday morning service in the auditorium with the church. We also want to provide opportunities on Sunday mornings for our students to serve the church. There are many different avenues on Sunday morning and outside of Sunday mornings where our students can serve - you can find more information by filling out the form below or reaching out to our high school minister - hensley@forumchristian.org

EVENTS

  • 5:30-7:00 PM IN THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER

Our mission is to equip students to be lifelong followers of Jesus. Sunday nights are a great avenue to help our students grow in the practice of spiritual habits as we study, pray, ask questions, together with our students and leaders. Sunday nights will provide time for large group teaching as well as small group discussions and times for our students to teach their peers. If your student is looking for a place to connect with other high schoolers and to be challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus - this is the perfect next step for them.

  • 6:30-9:00 PM IN THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER

Join us every Wednesday evening throughout the school year for a night filled with community, student led worship, studying God's Word, and small group discussion. The message starts at 7:25pm each week - students are welcome to show up anytime between 6:30-7:20pm for time off of fellowship. During the fellowship part of Hangout - we have games going in the gym, one of the rooms off the gym opened for board games, coloring, and snacks. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment for high schoolers to connect with their peers, our leaders, and Jesus. We can't wait to see how God grows your student this school year!

July 8-13, 2024 // Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL

Do you feel pressured to measure up? To be the best? The prettiest? The strongest? The funniest? To try harder, work longer, never quit, and never let up? Do you wonder what you're going to do with the rest of your life?

If so, then Jesus has something He wants you to hear:

"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
