FACILITIES
Assist with hands-on upkeep to keep the church building and grounds looking great.
What You'll Do: Seasonal landscaping (weeding, leaves), minor repairs, painting, or event setup/teardown
Commitment: Ultra-flexible, work entirely on your own schedule—weekly, monthly, or just when needs arise
HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY
Connect with high schoolers to build lasting, impactful relationships and point them toward Jesus.
What You'll Do: Mentor students on Sunday/Wednesday nights and invest in their lives throughout the week
The Goal: Ensure every student knows they are deeply loved by God, their peers, and the ministry team
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
Help guests feel welcomed, loved, and at home so they can easily connect with the church community.
What You'll Do: Provide friendly faces, guidance, coffee, building tours, and helpful information
The Goal: Create an inviting atmosphere that helps both members and newcomers take their next steps toward Jesus
KIDS MINISTRY
Help create a high-energy environment where kids can belong to, believe in, and become like Jesus.
What You'll Do: Connect with kids and teach them that church is a safe, fun place to learn about Jesus
The Goal: Show children that no one is too young to begin following Him
LEVEL PATH MINISTRY
Support and serve families with special needs by providing a welcoming and caring environment.
What You'll Do: Connect with special needs families and assist with ministry activities
The Goal: Show love and encouragement to families, helping them fully engage in the church community
MEAL MINISTRY
Bless church families with a meal during major life transitions or times when they just need extra help.
What You'll Do: Prepare and deliver meals to individuals or families experiencing big changes
The Goal: Provide practical relief and show care to families when they need it most
MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY
Intentionally connect middle schoolers to Jesus and help them take their next steps in faith.
What You'll Do: Mentor students during Sunday mornings, Wednesday night in-home Life Groups, or big events
The Goal: Build a strong community around Jesus where students can grow spiritually together
MISSIONS
Support more than 33 local, national, and international mission partners through prayer, partnership, and petition.
What You'll Do: Act as a vital liaison and main point of contact for specific mission partners
The Goal: Keep the church connected to its global and local mission efforts through consistent communication
OFFICE TASKS
Help with the essential, behind-the-scenes tasks that keep church communications and Sunday mornings running smoothly.
What You'll Do: Come to the church office to assist with a variety of administrative tasks
The Goal: Ensure the church stays organized and connected (great opportunity to serve consistently with a friend!)
PARKING TEAM
Help create a welcoming, safe, and organized environment in the parking lot so everyone can focus on worshipping God.
What You'll Do: Serve during one 30-minute block of time to keep the Gatherings running smoothly & quickly
The Goal: Provide safety and organization for families attending by ensuring traffic flows are efficient & safe
SAFETY TEAM
Help maintain a secure and distraction-free environment so everyone can focus on worshipping God.
What You'll Do: Serve during all three Sunday morning services to keep the gatherings running smoothly and safely
The Goal: Provide peace of mind for families and attendees by ensuring the building and grounds remain secure
UPWARD BASKETBALL
Help players have fun, make new friends, and learn more about Jesus through a thriving recreational sports league.
What You'll Do: Serve in one of multiple key roles, including coaching and mentoring a team, refereeing games, running concessions, or managing the scoreboard
The Goal: Provide a positive, supportive environment that grows kids physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually
WORSHIP/TECH MINISTRY
Use creative elements to refocus people’s attention on God and point them to Jesus during Sunday morning services.
What You'll Do: Serve alongside others as a vocalist, musician, or tech booth operator (audio, video, or lighting)

CHRISTIAN PRISON MINISTRIES
Bring the gospel into local prisons to show inmates they are loved and redeemed through Christ.
What You'll Do: Serve local correctional centers by visiting, donating toiletries, financially supporting the ministry, or joining in prayer for staff and inmates; volunteers must be 18+ and pass a background checkThe Goal: Equip, encourage, and evangelize to foster spiritual growth and share hope with incarcerated individuals
CITY OF REFUGE
Serve and empower refugees through relational care, education, and holistic development as they establish new lives.
What You'll Do: Serve in weekly individual roles, assist with annual community events, or commit to long-term program support; weekly roles require a background check and a 6-12 month commitment, youth under 18 can serve at events with a guardianThe Goal: Build meaningful relationships, welcome neighbors with dignity, and surround displaced families with hope and practical support
LOAVES & FISHES
Partner with a community-wide effort to serve meals to those in need on the third Thursday of every month from 4:30–6:30 PM.
What You'll Do: Assist at the Voluntary Action Hub, 1300 Bowling St, by preparing meals, making PB&Js, baking desserts, serving guests, or washing dishes

MISSOURI OPERATION FOR VIGOROUS EVANGELISM
Act as a catalyst in planting new churches to bring clarity, life, change, and community transformation.
What You'll Do: Partner with a state-wide effort to support, launch, and get involved in new church plants across the region
The Goal: Share a passion for new church evangelism to point communities to Jesus Christ and foster spiritual growth
MY LIFE CLINIC
Support, advocate for, and inform women and families facing unplanned pregnancies in our local community.
What You'll Do: Assist in providing free medical services, parenting support, and baby equipment to expecting mothers.
The Goal: Empower and secure women with the resources and care they need to choose life for their unborn children.
SAFE FAMILIES
Provide extended family-like support to vulnerable children and desperate families to help keep children safe and families intact.
What You'll Do: Serve in tailored roles—from hosting children to offering smaller support tasks—based on your specific availability and resources.
The Goal: Surround struggling families with a compassionate community of faith-motivated volunteers so they never have to walk alone.
SHILOH CHILDREN’S RANCH
Provide hope, healing, and Christian homes for abused, neglected, and at-risk children.
What You'll Do: Support a ministry grounded in Biblical values that offers loving, traditional family environments for vulnerable youth (ages birth to 15)
The Goal: Meet the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical needs of each child to help them thrive
SHOW-ME YOUTH HOME
Help children from difficult circumstances find hope, care, and a supportive path toward a successful future.
What You'll Do: Support specialized, Christ-centered programs and family environments that go beyond traditional foster care
