SERVE OUR COMMUNITY

FORCOLUMBIA 2025

This is the 11th year of ForColumbia! This event brings volunteers together from churches all across Columbia to serve at multiple sites in our city on one day. This year’s event is from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26.

Anyone may sign up to serve individually or as part of a group. This is a great serving opportunity for families and life groups! T-shirts, lunch, and child care are provided. Registration is open now through Sunday, April 13. For more details, and to join in go to forcolumbia.com/volunteer/. There are many different ways to serve at ForColumbia. LOVE COLUMBIA

Love Columbia empowers volunteers— from Forum and many more churches— serving as a hub for connections and communication promoting maximum coordination and strategic use of resources. When the church works together, with God’s help, we will accomplish anything. SAFE FAMILIES

This ministry is a movement of the Church to care for the most vulnerable people group in our society: our children and their families. At the core of the ministry is hosting children to create extended family-like supports for desperate families through a community of compassionate volunteers motivated by their faith to keep children safe and families intact. There is so much more that makes this ministry so special and so tailored to anyone who wants to help (even those with limited time, interest, or resources).

MY LIFE CLINIC

My Life Clinic exists to meet the needs of women and families, facing an unplanned pregnancy. By aiding and advocating for expecting women, it is our hope that she be completely informed, supported and secure in choosing life for her unborn child. 

My Life Clinic offers free medical services, parenting support and baby equipment to women and families in our local community.

  • LOAVES & FISHES

    3rd Thursday of each month

    Forum and other groups/churches join together to serve 70-90 houseless people at Room at the Inn, 1509 Ashley St. You can assist this ministry by preparing or serving the meal, providing ingredients, or by praying that we may effective in sharing Jesus with our guests. Guidance, recipes, and support are available to individuals or groups interested in preparing the meal at Forum.
