Breakout Session Info

Teacher: Becky Doran // Auditorium

Gratitude is often expressed as an afterthought--a byproduct of the good times, but God’s will is for us to give thanks in all circumstances. Throughout His Word, God has provided clear instruction for managing the stress of daily life through the habit of gratitude, and by practicing it we can find joy in every season.

Expressing Gratitude

Teacher: Vicki Brooks // Room 203

Explore how to develop meaningful study habits, deepen your understanding of God’s truth, and apply His Word to your daily life. In this session you’ll be encouraged, equipped, and inspired to listen to God with fresh devotion—cultivating a heart that flourishes in His presence. Experience the beauty and power of God’s flawless Word in a more transformative way.

Delighting in God’s Word

Teacher: Jessie Spellman // FLC-B

Prayer and fasting are both disciplines that can help make the division between heaven and earth feel very thin — which is why the practices can also, at times, be a source of mystery and frustration. Spend some time in this session talking about your posture towards prayer and fasting so you can be open to finding an abiding connection with your Heavenly Father.

Practicing Prayer & Fasting

Teacher: Tracey Buster // Room 200

God designed us for relationships; we are not meant to do life alone. There is power in our words and we can influence others by creating an environment of encouragement. Let’s discuss some practical ways to find faith-filled friendships and cultivate sisterhood through every stage of life. We are each an important and necessary part of a bigger community & you’re invited!

Community

Teacher: Rebecca Jennings // FLC-A

An escape from the cultural Egypt, this workshop will be an invitation to silence the thoughts, to-do lists, and comparisons and instead be reminded of who God says that you are. Rather than a teaching on Silence & Solitude, our time together will focus on the practice of Silence & Solitude. Shavasana here we come!

Spending Time in Silence & Solitude

The breakout sessions are being held throughout the building. There will be signs & volunteer members helping people get to the correct room, however we encourage you to look at our building map if you are not already familiar with the building!
