TUESDAYS FROM 6:00-7:30 PM IN ROOM 200

    SEPTEMBER 2 - OCTOBER 22

The great news woven throughout the Gospel according to Luke is that perfection is not a prerequisite for a deep and personal relationship with Jesus. In fact, this riveting account reveals that Jesus is especially fond of ragamuffins in need of a safe place to lean in and linger! Join Lisa Harper in this Bible study of a literary masterpiece that doesn’t celebrate the elite, but embraces the outliers, outcasts, and overlooked! This study led by Brenda Wilson, no child care provided.

  • THE EPIC OF EDEN: PSALMS

WEDNESDAYS FROM 9-11 AM IN ROOM 203

    SEPTEMBER 3 - OCTOBER 23

Experience fresh connections to contemporary worship and devotional practices in this eight-session video-based study of Psalms with Bible scholar Sandra Richter.

The book of Psalms is well-known and well-worn. It is the Old Testament book most often quoted in the New Testament, and its quotations can be found everywhere from John Milton to Star Trek to Congressional speeches. Why so much attention? The Church Father Athanasius said it best—most of Scripture speaks to us, but the Book of Psalms speaks for us. This study led by Cathy Forbes, Debbie Karwoski and Teresa Matheny. Child care is provided.

Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions, challenge the way you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you'll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody. This study is led by Peggy Cooper, Pete Sublett and Sue Petter in room 200. Child care is provided.

  • PERFECTLY FLAWED

WEDNESDAYS FROM 9-11 AM IN ROOM 202

    SEPTEMBER 3 - OCTOBER 16

The apostle Peter’s passion and imperfections make him one of the Bible’s most loved and relatable people. Even when Peter gave up, gave in, and gave out, Jesus was there for him. Join Lisa Toney as she follows Peter through his time with Jesus, from the beginning of Jesus’s ministry to the Resurrection and through Pentecost, when Peter begins to live into his call. Along the way, discover the raw honesty of a man who veered from staunch devotion to moments of doubt, mirroring our own human struggles. This study is facilitated by Bobbie Hayes and Terri Toti.
