Marriage Matters

Your Marriage Matters.  It matters to us, your neighbors, your family, your kids and God.  We want to encourage you as you and your spouse seek holiness in your marriage.  We desire for you to know God's design for your marriage and your role as a husband and wife.  In addition, we hope to provide you with opportunities for you to connect, grow, learn and laugh with each other alongside other couples doing the same.  Our prayer is for your marriage to be so rooted in the gospel that others will find Jesus in the way you love each other.

Out of the Dust.jpg

out of the dust

SUN, OCT 6 on Forum lawn

Need some time to just chill and hang out? Love discovering new artists and listening to music? Join us for an evening outdoors, snuggled up with your spouse and listening to some great music. Chris and Stephanie are the husband and wife duo, Out of the Dust, who began and continue their lives just outside of Nashville, TN. Their story of downfall, heartbreak, and miraculous redemption is woven deep into the fabric of their music.

After growing up in church and marrying young, like so many young men, Chris slowly and quietly lost all faith in God during college. Even while slipping deeper into drugs and every other whim of his heart, he secretly managed an alter ego for years around church friends, family, and even Stephanie. Finally, everything surfaced one Thursday night in January 2010 as Stephanie’s life unraveled before her eyes. Their young marriage quickly collapsed in divorce as Chris walked away from God, friends, and everything he had built with Stephanie. What happened next can’t be called anything other than a miracle. His independence very rapidly found him in the most desperate and heartsick place of his life, and it was there that he was shown the depth of his selfishness and pride. Incredibly, in just over a year, God mended their hearts, restored their marriage, and still continues to breathe new life into their story today. The passion they share is to tell of God’s beautiful and majestic redemption through music that is stirring, thoughtful, and uniquely their own.

It will be an evening of growing together with God, your spouse, and other couples. We hope you can join us!
